Indonesia's Bumi raises 2013 coal output target by almost 4 pct

JAKARTA, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Indonesian coal miner Bumi (LSE: BUMI.L - news) Resources said on Wednesday it expects output of 80 million tonnes this year, nearly 4 percent higher than its earlier target of 77 million tonnes.

About demand for the resource in 2014, Andrew Beckham, a director at Bumi Resources (Jakarta: BUMI.JK - news) , told reporters: "We have not seen a reduction in demand for next year."

The company projects coal output of at least 110 million tonnes in 2015, according to a filing to the Indonesian stock exchange. It produced 74 million tonnes last year. (Reporting by Fathiya Dahrul; Writing by Eveline Danubrata; Editing by Muralikumar Anantharaman)
