Influencer shares hilarious reason why she’s afraid to show her boyfriend her phone: ‘ur hamilton phase popping out’
A TikTok influencer has Broadway fans laughing with her relatable video.
AJ (@jus_kimmylov3) posted a video in which she writes, “‘if you’re so loyal…why are you scared to show him your phone?'” The first image we see is a mirror selfie of AJ, followed by a hilarious and unexpected clip of her singing a popular Broadway song.
“he’s leaving me fs,” she writes.
The song AJ sings is “The Schuyler Sisters” performed by Renée Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo, Jasmine Cephas-Jones and Leslie Odom Jr. from “Hamilton” (the Original Broadway Cast Recording). “Hamilton,” as Broadway fans know, is the Tony Award-winning musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda that tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. “Hamilton” opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in August 2015.

TikTokers, specifically fellow “Hamilton” fans, relate heavily to AJ’s 19-second video. It seems AJ isn’t the only one still in her “Hamilton” era.
“ur hamilton phase popping out,” one commenter wrote.
“if he don’t fw Hamilton then he ain’t for me,” another said.
“i haven’t been happy since i was in my hamilton phase,” a user admitted.
“im still in my hamilton phase and will forever be in it,” someone said. AJ replied, “real.”
As commenters make apparent in AJ’s video, she’s not alone in secretly loving “Hamilton.” Nearly eight years later, the sensational Broadway musical still seems to have a hold on many fans — both admittedly or not.
