Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo have missed training today due to time zone differences with players still arriving from around the world after the international break.
Chelsea released a statement confirming the duo missed training today because they had to travel to South America with others expected to arrive tomorrow ahead of the game against Bournemouth this weekend.
The Chelsea statement read: “The international action came to an end on Tuesday evening, although the time difference and travelling required means South Americans Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are not back with the group yet.”
Chelsea luckily don't play until Sunday so that will give the players arriving to training for the first time tomorrow enough time to recover and train before heading to the Vitality Stadium to take on the Cherries.
Both Caicedo and Fernandez are massive parts of the Chelsea team with both arriving for massive fees and huge expectations to help get the club back to the very top of English and European football.
Chelsea have had a rough start to the season, they have won only one of their first four games with defeats against Nottingham Forest and West Ham added to a draw against Liverpool on Premier League opening day.
The Blues owners have spent more than £1billion on the transfer of players since taking over and there is now the need to get the team back to fighting for at least the top four this season having failed to qualify for any kind of European football last season.
On the injury front, Chelsea will hope to have Armando Broja involved for the first time after being out with a knee injury for the last 10 months.
