InterContinental Hotels completes Paris hotel sale

LONDON (ShareCast) - InterContinental Hotels Group has completed the sale of InterContinental Paris - Le Grand to Constellation Hotels France Grand SA. The deal, worth approximately €330m (£236.4m) in cash, will see the affiliate of Constellation Hotels Holding Limited assume control of the facility, although FTSE 100-listed IHG will continue to manage the hotel under a long-term management contract.

In a short statement on Wednesday, IHG said the terms of the deal were unchanged since they were first agreed on 7 August, adding the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

IHG shares were up 0.07% to 2,787.00p at 15:28 on Wednesday.
