Yahoo Finance IPL 2021 Watch: Ambati Rayudu Hits Bulls’s Eye To Run Out Shubman Gill
KKR opener Shubman Gill was found short just after a delivery in which the DRS saved him against CSK in Abu Dhabi. KKR won the toss and opted to bat first, losing Gill in the very first over. He scored nine off the first five balls and was run out of the final ball of the first over. The wicket fell at avery wrong time for the batting side.
Shubman Gill hit the ball off his hips and ran immediately for the singlle. Venkatesh Iyer at the non-striker’s end said no for the single straight away. Meanwhile, Ambati Rayudu came running in and took the ball and hit the stumps on the full catching Gill short.
On his return, Gill yelled at his opening partner who did not respond to his partner’s call. The commentators also said that it was an error of judgment from Gill who looked good for his first five balls.

KKR has fielded an unchanged side whileCSK have brought in Sam Curran in place of Dwayne Bravo. Dhoni spoke about managing the workload oof his players and especially a key player like Dwayne Bravo.
“We have one change, Curran comes in for Bravo. He had a few niggles in the CPL, so we need to make sure he doesn’t develop them further. The support staff is very important. Having experienced players in the side helps. In IPL it’s about managing the combinations” said Dhni at the toss.
“We are going to bat first, we don’t have any changes. Will be a different challenge as it’s a day game. There’s more pace in the wicket as compared to the last year. In this sort of heat, it might get slower later” said Morgan after winning the toss.
