Yahoo Finance IPL 2021: Watch- Kane Williamson And Bhuvneshwar Kumar Name Their Favourite Cricketers
Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has uncountable fans around the world. And Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) teammates Kane Williamson and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are also included. Recently, they both featured in the latest edition of the franchise’s “Risers Favorites” segment.
They spoke about many things and while recalling their favourite batsman growing up, both of them named Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar without any hesitation. Meanwhile, the speedster has also added that he still adores Tendulkar.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has said: “Sachin was one of them (my favorite batsman growing up). He was and still is.”

I used to enjoy watching Glenn McGrath: Kane Williamson
When he was asked to name their favourite bowlers while growing up, Kane Williamson named former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath and veteran Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan. Legendary pace bowler McGrath has also been featured on Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s chart along with former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn.
In the video, SRH captain Kane Williamson has revealed that he loves playing straight drives. Kumar, meanwhile, named the square-cut as his favourite shot. The Indian pacer also mentioned that it is satisfying for him to get a batsman out in the slips with a perfect outswing delivery as well.

Meanwhile, Kane Williamson and co. had a rather forgettable run in the first half of IPL 2021. With just one win from seven games, SRH are currently placed at the bottom of the points table. While the second half of the IPL will soon resume in the UAE, it is important for them to bounce back as soon as possible to keep their hope alive for the playoff qualification, although the road won’t be easy at all.
However, SRH will resume their campaign on September 22 against the Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) in Dubai. The table-toppers will certainly have the upperhand against SRH as well.
