Iraq expects exploration bids on April 26

BAGHDAD, April 23 (Reuters) - Iraq expects to receive bids for exploration and development contracts from international energy companies on April 26, the oil ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Iraq is offering 11 new blocks for exploration in border areas with Iran and Kuwait and in offshore Gulf waters. (Reporting by Maher Chmaytelli; editing by Jason Neely)
