Yahoo Finance Is this 'Bridgeton' heartthrob the new Black Panther for Marvel?
Regé-Jean Page has not only captured the attention of the many ladies who have swooned over him, thanks to 'Bridgeton', but this dashing star has also impressed the good folks at Marvel Studios.
It is rumoured that the actor might be joining the cast one of the most successful Marvel movies as Black Panther. With the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, the lead of the movie, the superhero franchise is currently without its hero.
Although, Marvel Studi confirmed that he role of T’Challa portrayed by Boseman would not be recast with another actor. Rege-Jean could be in talks to take over the mantle in Black Panther as a new character, and not recast as T’Challa.
There are also rumours floating around that Page could be the next 007 and take over the Bond franchise. Here's what he thinks about it when Jimmy Fallon asked him about the rumour:
