ITK Bowl 2021: The Top 5 plays from our Call of Duty tournament

This article is brought to you by Pizza Hut and created by In The Know’s editorial team.

All of our duos performed splendidly during ITK Bowl 2021, but only the best of the best made it to our list of Top 5 plays. Here are the clutchest, biggest brain plays from the night, brought to you by Pizza Hut, home of the $10 Tastemaker.

First up is Henry Ruggs III of the Las Vegas Raiders, who was partnered up with up-and-coming Call of Duty player Luis “Jumper” Guzman. Ruggs executed a beautiful double in Nuketown against Team Slacked by killing his first target in a corner shootout, then securing the second kill with a sliding pop-up. Ruggs demonstrated that you don’t need to be a Call of Duty pro to hang with the best of them.

The next is from Twitch streamer Bobby Poff, who was paired with DeVonta Smith of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Poff made an aggressive push on the catwalk in Garrison, shredding through both Thomas “OGRE 2” Ryan and retired NBA star Stephen Jackson.

“Let’s go, DeVonta!” Poff screamed out to his teammate after winning the round.

Our third play is from Josiah “Slacked” Berry of the Florida Mutineers, who was paired with Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings. A true professional, Slacked lurked at the edges of the plane in Checkmate. He made a careful pick on Travis “Neptune” McCloud II before snapping out to clean up Jarvis Landry of the Cleveland Browns.

“Let’s go, man,” Slacked said after the double kill. “Come on, man, I’m a vet, boy.”

But Neptune wasn’t going to let Team Slacked off without a fight. In the second play, the young gun mowed down Jefferson in the plane, ran out to finish Slacked on the ground and then set his sights for the enemy spawn, where he took down Jefferson yet again.

And while Team Slacked won the ITK Bowl 2021 championship, it was Neptune who is the star of our top play of the tournament. In Team Neptune’s match-up against Bobby Poff and DeVonta Smith, the Florida phenom went on a 10-kill streak in Moscow. Neptune slid into action and slew both Poff and DeVonta in a near-instant double kill.

“That guy is like one of the best in the world, dude,” Poff told Smith in amazement.

That wraps it up for the Top 5 plays of ITK Bowl 2021. Thank you to all our competitors and we hope to see you again next year!
