Yahoo Finance Jaffa Cake vodka has arrived and it tastes delicious
Exciting news for those mad for all things Jaffa Cake! The makers of Jaffa Cake gin and Jaffa Cake rum have finally added Jaffa Cake vodka to the line up and it sounds so delicious!
Made with pure grain vodka, blended with oranges, fresh orange peel, cocoa powder, and of course... real Jaffa Cakes.
It's a very grown up way to enjoy the treat, packed with cakey, citrusy, chocolatey tasting notes, really capturing all the things we love about the classic cakes. Or are they biscuits? We don't have time to get into that debate!
The experts at Master of Malt said of the tipple: "It would be easy for this to be overwhelmingly sweet, but it maintains its pose and manages to not become immensely sugary and sickly."

Good Housekeeping's resident food & drink expert, Mel Giandzi had a chance to try the tipple, describing it as an authentic replica of jaffa cakes, just in liquid form.
"It has an amazing confected orange aroma with a definite chocolate-y undertone, whilst the flavour has a balanced chocolate taste and a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. It isn't too sickly sweet either, making it easy drinking and I can see this being used in a lot of cocktails in my house."

Jaffa Cake Easter Egg Martini
You’ll need:
25g Mini easter eggs
1 tsp honey
50ml Chocolate Cream Liqueur (we used this Hotel Chocolat one)
25ml Baileys (or other irish cream) OR sub out for 50ml of full cream milk
50ml Jaffa Cake vodka
Ice
Method:
Crush the Mini Eggs and tip onto a plate. Brush the rim of a martini glass with a little of the honey then dip the glass into the crushed Eggs. Pop the glass in the fridge until you need it.
Pour Jaffa Cake Vodka, chocolate liqueur and irish cream into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake. Strain into your glass and serve.
