Jenson Button shares photo of baby son after hip surgery
Racing driver Jenson Button said his baby boy was “doing well” as he shared a picture of him recovering from hip surgery.
Eight-month-old Hendrix, Button’s son with his fiancée Brittny Ward, underwent the operation for hip dysplasia, which the NHS defines as being “a condition where the ‘ball and socket’ joint of the hip does not properly form in babies and young children.”
The sweet snap posted on Instagram shows the baby on a sofa with a huge smile on his face.

“Introducing Spica boy!” wrote the sports star, referring to the type of cast that his son is wearing.
“The newest superhero post surgery our little dude is doing well, bloody confused but healthy.”
He added the hashtags “#hipdysplasia #spica #spicacast #hipdysplasiaawareness.”
Button said in the comments section that his son’s hip was “completely dislocated” before he had the surgery but was now in place.
Ward shared the same picture of her son on her own Instagram account.
“You are my hero @hendrixbutton,” she wrote.
“The next 3 months will be Challenging, but this will all be a distant memory and I bet we won’t be able to keep up with you once this cast is off.”
Button and Ward got together in 2016 and got engaged in June 2018.
