Jeramey and Clay went Jet Skiing before the 'Love is Blind' reunion in an apparent nod to one of the most controversial moments in season 6
Jeramey Lutinski and Clay Gravesande went Jet Skiing together days before the "Love Is Blind" reunion.
It seemed to be a nod to a controversial Jet Ski ride Lutinski took.
In season six, episode 11, Lutinski went for a ride with his crush right in front of his angry ex-fiancée.
"Love Is Blind" star Jeramey Lutinski was back on a Jet Ski a week after he said he couldn't condone his lake ride with fellow contestant Sarah Ann Bick — one of season six's most controversial moments.
On Monday, contestants Lutinski and Clay Gravesande shared on Instagram that they had gone for a Jet Ski ride together before the upcoming cast reunion.
"Riding with @lutinskij before the SZN starts," Gravesande, the founder of a Carolina-based Jet Ski and boat rental company, captioned the post.
In episode nine, Lutinski and his fiancée, Laura Dadisman, split up after Lutinski admits to having had a secret rendezvous with his pod connection, Bick. Lutinski claims that he just talked to Bick, but Dadisman doesn't believe him because he didn't return home until the next morning.
Days later, Lutinski and Dadisman argue again at a hangout with the rest of the cast. After they go their separate ways, Lutinski speaks to Bick in front of Dadisman and goes for a Jet Ski ride with her.
After a clip of this scene was shared on the "Love Is Blind" Instagram account on March 5, Lutinski wrote in the comment section: "I don't condone how I acted during this. I'm even watching this back like 'WTF?'"
But, the damage was already done, and "Love Is Blind" fans have branded Lutinski as one of the reality star villains of season six. Bick has yet to address the moment but said in a TikTok post that she has received hateful comments for her relationship with Lutinski.
This is not the only scandal Lutinski has had to address. On February 23, Lutinski took to Instagram to shut down claims he was in a secret relationship while filming "Love Is Blind." Lutinski said he had broken up with his ex-fiancée, Brittani McLiverty, before applying for the reality series.
McLiverty told Business Insider that she broke up with Lutinski after she caught him cheating. Lutinski told BI via email that he "will not be addressing this any further" when asked to comment.
Gravesande is also in the hot seat after he said no to his fiancée, AD, at the altar during the season six finale. Lutinski, Gravesande, and Bick will have many questions to answer during the "Love Is Blind" reunion episode, which premieres this evening at 9 p.m. EST or 6 p.m. PST.
For the past four weeks, "Love Is Blind" has been in the top 10 of Netflix's most-watched English-language series list, although it failed to reach the No.1 spot.
Season six, which has pulled in over 22 million views in its four weeks in the top 10, is performing better than season five, which only received 16.4 million views when it was in the top 10.
