Ex-Little Mix star Jesy Nelson complains that Instagram filters shrink her nose
Jesy Nelson has questioned what makers of Instagram filters consider beautiful, saying all the app’s filters “literally squash” her nose.
The former Little Mix star declared she is embracing her “standard nose” because noses are what “makes you you”, after having a rant about the photo app’s filter settings.
Nelson, 29, said in a video on her Instagram Stories: “So I have been going through filters on my phone, and I won't lie – I love a little Instagram filter which makes you look a bit more tanned and makes you look a little bit fresher.
“But every filter I've used makes my nose tiny and skinny, my lips huge and my eyes either a different colour or really big.
“Why does every filter change your nose? I really don't understand. Your nose is the most prominent point of your face. I feel like noses are literally what makes you you.

“I don't understand why Instagram feels the need to literally squash your nose. What's wrong with a standard nose?
“I'm just so confused as to why whoever makes these filters thinks that that is what beautiful is. I just think it's bl***y weird.”
