Jesy Nelson has revealed her brand new hairdo after ditching her long locks.

The former Little Mix singer has always been known for her waist-length hair, but has now debuted a sleek bob.

"New do," she captioned a series of pictures on her Instagram page.

Jesy announced back in 2020 that she was leaving the girl band after 9 years to focus on her mental health.

"The truth is recently being in the band has taken a toll on my mental health," she said at the time.

"I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.

"There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process."

The rest of the group recently discussed how they were adapting to life as a trio.

Speaking to the Express, Perrie Edwards said: "I think, whether you were expecting it or not, if an individual is feeling a certain way, all you can do is be the support system that they need, you have to just be happy for that."

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who recently announced her pregnancy, added: "What comes with that sisterhood is that we would always respect what anyone wants to do… You can't force anyone to want to be in anything.

"Us three are super solid. It's all about positive vibes, it's all we want. We're ready to tackle this year, we have so much amazing things to come."

Speaking about how they were going to adapt their music with one less voice, Jade Thirlwall added: "Oh, we haven't sorted that far ahead.

"I mean we'll make it work. We'll take turns. We've done it before if someone is not well.

"We've literally had moments when someone's not well an hour before stage time and we've looked at each other and we're like, 'We're really about to go on stage and make it up as we go along.'

"We've done it before and it will be fine..."
