Jewelry Designer Jennifer Fisher Opens New Boutique in Beverly Hills

Dakota Johnson sported her knuckle-dusting gold ring while promoting “Suspiria” at the 2018 Venice Film Festival. Sarah Jessica Parker wore her custom earrings to the Met Ball that same year, followed a few months later by Hailey Bieber rocking her sleek shoulder-grazing hoops at the VMAs.

“The core of who we are as a brand is pieces that you’ll want to wear over and over again,” says Jennifer Fisher, whose clean, sculptural approach has earned the jewelry designer a cult West Coast following and prompted her to debut her first California boutique this month on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills.

It’s a homecoming of sorts for Fisher, a Santa Barbara native who got her start as a stylist in L.A. before moving to New York City, where she met her now-husband and business partner, Kevin Fisher. Upon the birth of their first son, Shane, Fisher created a delicate 14k-gold dog tag inscribed with her son’s name — a design beloved by celebrity moms that led to the launch of Fisher’s namesake line in 2006.

“I’m inspired by everyday life, by the shapes and lines that I see,” she says of her best-selling hoops, charms and customizable fine jewelry, now on display at the flagship store (alongside custom-blended salts from Fisher’s new brand extension, Jennifer Fisher Kitchen). And while an L.A. brick-and-mortar gives her the opportunity to build new relationships in Hollywood (Cate Blanchett is always “goals,” she says), it also lets her get back to her roots — working with stylists. “My goal is the relationship with the people who work with the celebrity,” she says.
