Yahoo Finance John Barrowman sorry after allegations he exposed himself on Doctor Who and Torchwood sets
John Barrowman has apologised after allegations were made related to his behaviour on the sets of Doctor Who and Torchwood.
In an article published by The Guardian which includes new sexual harassment allegations against Noel Clarke on Doctor Who, two women alleged that Barrowman – who plays Captain Jack Harkness – exposed himself "on a regular basis" behind the scenes during the show's earlier years.
One crew member, who was a runner and driver for the BBC programme, said: "He'd just sort of have his balls hanging out his trousers or something, which he just thought was really funny."

Another former runner told the publication Barrowman would "have his willy out, standing in the doorway" and said "it was kind of accepted that it was his thing".
She added she did not feel unsafe by his behaviour but found it "really uncomfortable".
In response, Barrowman's lawyers claimed that he did "not recall" the incidents. But the actor did release an apology for his "high-spirited behaviour" that he said was "only ever intended in good humour to entertain colleagues on set and backstage".
He continued: "With the benefit of hindsight, I understand that upset may have been caused by my exuberant behaviour and I have apologised for this previously. Since my apology in November 2008, my understanding and behaviour have also changed."

His first apology in November 2008 came following a BBC Radio 1 interview during which he pulled down his trousers.
"I apologise for any offence I have caused. I was joining in the light-hearted and fun banter of the show, and went too far," he said back then.
Also in The Guardian's article, both the BBC and Doctor Who producer Julie Gardner confirmed that in 2008, a complaint was made against Barrowman regarding his conduct on the Torchwood set.
"I met with John and reprimanded him," Gardner said, adding that she "[made] it clear to both John and his agent that behaviour of this kind would not be tolerated... To my knowledge, John’s inappropriate behaviour stopped thereafter."
