With no social arrangements on the horizon, we’ve been enjoying longer, luxurious bath times.

Soaking in a warm tub, accompanied by a glass of wine (dropped straight to our door thanks to these wine delivery services) and perhaps that novel that we never quite got round to reading.

And though time in the bath feels like a warm hug, getting out the bath is a different story.

Old towels can feel rough against freshly-bathed skin and clambering out to wrap yourself in a thin, ripped bath towel puts a stop the relaxing atmosphere entirely.

Which is why when we saw that thousands of bath-lovers were raving about these super-soft Egyptian Cotton Towels from John Lewis & Partners, we had to get in on the action.

Starting at just £2.50 for a face towel and going right up to a huge bath sheet that means anyone can swaddle themselves post-wash, the range comes in five different sizes and no less than 26 colourways.

But you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands - and face - on them as the long-fibre towels are a bestseller on the shopping site, with almost 2,000 people leaving glowing reviews thus far.

“They are excellent, very absorbent and comfortable to use without being too soft. We always know we can rely on John Lewis for quality and value when we purchase products” reads one five-star review.

Another added: “John Lewis towels are really the best I have tried others over the years but always return to these. They are bigger, softer and wash really well.”

Meanwhile, one in-the-know luxury-lover commented: “I've used higher thread count towels than these but they are so heavy, these are lovely quality, soft and a perfect weight.”

Customers also seem to be very loyal to the household essential, buying multiple colours and styles.

“I first purchased John Lewis Egyptian towels last year and have been recently to purchase more, they are the best towels I have ever bought and I would not even consider buying them from anywhere else, well done John Lewis.”

And, as one review states, they also “look great on the towel rail too!”

We might need to invest in some more bubble bath at this rate.
