JoJo Siwa transforms into Paris Hilton with her latest makeover: 'Not what I expected'

Sometimes, dreams come true. Even bizarre pop culture fever dreams.

JoJo Siwa, the former “Dance Moms” star who has come to represent so much of Gen Z, met up with Paris Hilton, the millennial reality star who could be considered one of the most formative characters of the early 2000s.

They didn’t just meet up, though. They swapped personas.

Siwa traded her iconic glitter and bows for Hilton’s preppy “Simple Life” style — and vice versa. She graciously posted the video on TikTok.

“Sister life swap,” Siwa captioned the video.

Commenters were obsessed with the makeovers.

“OK but you actually kinda killed that look,” one wrote.

“Was not exactly the friendship I expected to form in 2020, but I love it,” another said.

Hilton also shared footage from their bonding experience.

In a video she posted on Instagram, she posed beside her BMW that had been customized with an iridescent wrap to match her dress.

Siwa posed with her Tesla, which famously has her face all over it.

“When you think you match your car …. but then @ItsJojoSiwa comes over! CEOs of being extra,” Hilton wrote in the caption.

It’s not entirely surprising that the two are friends. Hilton has long been friends with her former assistant Kim Kardashian West, who has spent quite a bit of time with Siwa and even wrote her Time 100 Most Influential People profile.

Who would have thought that 2020 would bring such a delightful collision of millennial and Gen Z culture? Not me, but I am surely grateful.
