JPMorgan shares slipping, Broadcom's big buyback, Musk sees Tesla profit

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day.

JPMorgan (JPM): Shares down in early trade, at around 0.71%. The biggest US bank by assets beat on earnings and revenue, powered by stock trading, wealth management, and credit card operations.

Broadcom (AVGO): Shares are getting a boost, up around 2.84%. The chipmaker announced a $12 billion stock buyback, this coming only a few weeks after its failed bid for rival Qualcomm.

Tesla (TSLA): Shares climbing higher here, up around 1.93%. Responding to a critical Economist article, embattled CEO Elon Musk tweeted earlier this morning that Tesla would be profitable and cash flow positive in Q3 and Q4, hence a capital raise wouldn’t be necessary.
