Judi Love missing Strictly Come Dancing show after contracting Covid-19

Loose Women star Judi Love has been ruled out of Saturday's episode of Strictly Come Dancing after testing positive for Covid-19.

The presenter is the second contestant to catch the virus in this series, after Tom Fletcher came down with coronavirus after the first live show.

As a result of her positive test, both Judi and dance partner Graziano Di Prima will miss this week's episode.

"Hey my lovelies it's with great disappointment that I will not be performing this weekend @bbcstrictly due to testing positive with Covid 19," Judi wrote on Twitter. "Hoping to make a speedy recovery & dance for you next weekend. Stay safe & thank you for your well wishes."

Judi and Graziano, who have been saved in the dance-off the past two weeks, will return for the next show, "all being well".

"Judi Love has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines," a show representative commented. "While Judi and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that, all being well, they will return the following week."

The couple had been due to perform the Cha Cha Cha to Olivia Newton-John's hit Physical this week.

In addition to Tom and his partner, Amy Dowden, missing one week of the series, comedian and actor Robert Webb has pulled out of the show after suffering from ill health two years after having open-heart surgery.

Ugo Monye also missed last week's episode due to back problems.
