Yahoo Finance Kate Middleton's fave brand, Ghost, just restocked its affordable M&S collab
Marks and Spencer's second collaboration with celeb-fave brand Ghost was an instant smash hit back in April. Such a hit, in fact, that the duo is at it again. That's right - the Kate Middleton-approved brands have just released another drop - this time in new colourways and styles - and you can shop it all right here.
The M&S x Ghost Summer '21 collection is a limited edition range of maxi, midi, and mini dresses, available in sizes 6-20 and ranging from £59- £89. Yep - every single dress is under £100. Which is not bad, considering that your average dress from Ghost's own range rings in a tad pricier in the £100's. If you're a fan of the iconic, vintage-inspired silhouettes, these dresses designed exclusively for M&S are a great way to add a piece to your wardrobe at a lower price point.
Which is perfect timing, if you ask us, considering lockdowns across the UK have recently lifted to allow outdoor dining and drinking. And salon visits. And non-essential retail shops reopening. Aka, every kind of activity that a pretty sundress is perfect for. As Maddy Evans, Head of Womenswear Buying at M&S points out, we're all excited to "celebrate the important milestones we've all missed during the past year," and she explains that the dresses in the collab are versatile enough for "summer and beyond." We could not agree more.
We already know Kate Middleton is a big fan of Ghost - she’s been pictured in more than one of their floral maxi dresses, and she made a virtual appearance in a Peter Pan collared blouse more recently. It’s easy to see why - the timeless, demure styles are appropriate for any age and can easily be dressed up or down. Whenever the royal wears a dress from either brand, she inspires it to sell out everywhere. Remember this one?
Something about the ditsy florals feels quintessentially British, and perfect for sipping cider in a sunny beer garden. But the good thing is, layered with knee-high boots and your snuggliest cardigan, they do double duty for colder months as well. Now...just to decide which one...
