From House Beautiful

Blue Almonds, the luxury nursery and baby boutique situated in Chelsea, London has unveiled an exciting new addition to their royal baby range - and it comes just in time for the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son.

The latest beautiful collection is in collaboration with Abigail's Nursery, which is an award-winning baby furniture company based in North Yorkshire.

In the collection you'll find a traditional hand-crafted cot bed in a stunning cream hue, a practical chest of drawers, a bedside table and a nursing chair - all of which can be wonderfully personalised with your baby's name and have been made using locally-sourced materials.

There are also plenty of lovely accessories for you to get your hands on, including decorative cushions, a bespoke wooden frame, a luxurious silk lamp, sheer canopy with pom poms and a sensory rug to help the development of young children as they begin to explore the area around them.

'I couldn't be more delighted with the new Royal Collection. Abigail’s Nursery got in touch with us some time ago and I knew I wanted to work with them, but I wanted to wait for the right opportunity,' explains Izabela Minkiewicz, founder of Blue Almonds.

'When we learned that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were expecting their first baby together, I knew this was the right time for a collaboration. Abigail and Carolyn are a dynamic mother-daughter team with seven children and 10 grandchildren between them, and have unrivalled experience in creating bespoke interiors for babies, so I knew the end result would be exceptional.'

Kate Middleton, a lover of the brand, purchased their traditional moses basket back when Prince George was born in 2013. It is likely the same bed would have been used when both Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were born too.

With much discussion around how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might decorate their nursery at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, it's expected they will opt for a neutral and warming colour palette, tapping into white and greys. Blue Almonds' new royal collection has taken this into consideration, offering something beautiful for every nursery and newborn.
