Katie Price has reportedly flown to Turkey with her fiancé Carl Woods to "clear her head" following an alleged assault in her home last month.
The reality TV star apparently flew to the country, which she visited earlier this year to have a series of cosmetic procedures, on Wednesday to take some time out one month after she was hospitalised following the alleged assault.
"Katie left for Turkey this morning - she needs a few days to clear her head after everything that's been going on. She's going back to where she stayed after the surgery - she needs to relax and enjoy the sun for a few days," a source told The Sun. "She'll be back for her make-up classes at the weekend, but needed to get away for a few days."
The former glamour model sustained facial injuries following the incident at her home in August and a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft, and coercive and controlling behaviour.
Amid speculation over her alleged attacker, Carl broke his silence earlier this month to deny it was him, stating, "I have never and never would do anything to hurt Katie."
On Wednesday, he posted a video on Instagram in which he described how difficult the past month has been, and in the comments, Katie declared that the incident "is not to do with Carl".
"FACT, I’ve ALWAYS said DONT believe everything you read in the media and what Carl is saying is true (sic)," she wrote. "FACT I’ve NEVER called the police on Carl my police investigation I’m currently going through to a incident a few weeks ago is not to do with Carl. This mans mental health is so low and easy to say suicidal. Someone played what they thought was a clever game and involved the media with inaccurate information."
