Katie Price has vowed to run the London Marathon next year despite breaking both her feet and ankles.

The star was left in a wheelchair and unable to walk for months after injuring herself when she fell off a wall during a trip to Turkey last year, and is now registered as disabled.

She is now back on her feet and walking and said hearing that she may not be able to run again had made her even more determined to tackle the 26.2 mile challenge in 2022.

Price, who has taken part in the marathon twice before, said on Steph’s Packed Lunch: “Mentally, when you are told you’ve got a life-changing injury, I’m told I can’t run again.

"The fact that they said that, I want to run the marathon next April.”

However, the mum-of-five said she knew she might not be able to complete the gruelling challenge at a run.

“I’d have to do a fast walk or something,” she said.

“I don’t want that to be taken away and I’ll do everything I can to do it.”

Price first tackled the Marathon in 2009 with her then husband Peter Andre, and later revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage during the race.
