Kendall Jenner faces online backlash for hosting huge Halloween party for her birthday
Kendall Jenner is facing a social media backlash after photos from her Halloween-themed birthday party made their way online.
The reality TV star and model organised the fancy dress party to celebrate turning 25, inviting a host of celebrity pals including Jaden Smith and Justin Bieber.
Images show Jenner dressed like Pamela Anderson in the movie Barb Wire and blowing out candles on a birthday cake.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the event took place at Harriet’s Rooftop at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood.
Though health and safety protocols were in place, many people have hit out at the star for holding the event during the coronavirus pandemic.
On Twitter, one person said: “Ok Kendall Jenner blowing out candles as a masked waiter holds her cake and tries to move out of the way was actually the scariest thing I saw on Halloween.”

Pictures from the party show flyers asking guests not to post images to social media, something people obviously chose to ignore.
One Twitter user wrote: “Kendall Jenner really threw a big party with all those celebrities without masks in the middle of a pandemic with a ‘no social media’ rule so people wouldn’t find out about it.”
Another critic said: “This Halloween/birthday party for Kendall Jenner with a ton of people, 0 social distancing and the only people wearing masks are the service workers. Eat the rich. I hate it here.”

It is not the only party thrown by a Keeping Up With The Kardashians star that has made waves recently. Jenner’s sister Kim threw a lavish island party for all of her closest friends and family last week.
Writing on Instagram, she said: “For my birthday this year, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today.

“Before COVID, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment.
“After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.”
