Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turns 3 today (April 23rd)! To celebrate, Kensington Palace has released a photo of the young royal on his first day of nursery.

In the photo, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, little Louis can be seen smiling as he sits on his red balance bicycle wearing a pair of washed blue shorts, and a navy blue jumper with a striped shirt underneath.

Louis started at Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington earlier this week, which is the same nursery that big sister Princess Charlotte, 5, attended.

"Three tomorrow!" the palace's caption read. "Taken earlier this week by The Duchess before he left for his first day of nursery, The Duke and Duchess are pleased to share a new image of Prince Louis."

Royal fans were loving the new pic of Louis, with one commenting on his resemblance to old brother George, 6, and others suggesting he looks just like his mother Kate.

"He's just like George! So sweet!" one fan wrote.

"He's clearly his mummy's twin!" another added.

Willcocks Nursery School charges £3,400 per term for children attending morning school, and £2,250 per term for afternoon sessions. Prince George, 7, and Princess Charlotte, 5, are currently at Thomas' in Battersea.

There will be a few more birthdays for the young royals this month: Princess Charlotte will turn 6 on May 2nd, and Archie, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will turn 2 on May 6th.

Manny Happy Returns, Louis!
