Yahoo Finance Khloe Kardashian opens up about plastic surgery rumours
From rumours about plastic surgery to photo editing speculation, Khloe Kardashian is no stranger when it comes to criticism of her appearance. But on last night's (June 20) Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion episode, she decided to set the record straight.
Host Andy Cohen asked Khloe what false claims she hears about herself the most. “Everyone says, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s had her third face transplant,'" Khloe answered, "But I’ve had one nose job — Dr. Raj Kinodia — and everyone gets so upset, like, ‘Why don’t I talk about it?'"
She then revealed she doesn't speak about her plastic surgery journey, because no one's ever actually asked her.
"No one’s ever asked me,” Khloe said, “You’re [Andy] the first person in an interview that’s ever asked me about my nose." She also spoke about other procedures, admitting she's had injections, but "not really Botox." "I’ve responded horribly to Botox,” she said.
Khloe also commented on why she looks different to her siblings, and addressed the rumours surrounding her paternity. "I’ve heard that narrative since I’ve been a baby,” she said.
"By people saying, questioning always, ‘I can’t be their equal sibling,’ it’s because of appearance — it’s not because of [genetics]," Khloe explained, "So that’s the part that’s always stung."
Momager Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian also waded in on the rumours, revealing that Khloe actually had a higher percentage of Armenian ancestry than her sisters when they did a genetic test.
Speaking about how her confidence has changed over the 20 seasons of KUWTK, Khloe said: "When the show first started, I was very secure, very secure... And then during the first couple seasons, I became insecure because of the public opinions of myself."
"Then I had, I think, a good run of being secure, and then I think recently I’ve become now insecure again," she admitted, "So I guess it just goes, you know, up and down."
