This Kid’s Pancake Tip Will Change Your Life Forever

From Delish

Pancake Day is coming up! So that means now isn’t the perfect time to whip up some pancakes. Pancakes make a perfect breakfast, as well as a dead-simple dessert, so technically, these bad boys aren’t just for Shrove Tuesday, they’re for life!

There are many ways to make pancakes – all you need is a good pancake recipe, a pan and some oil. Plus, lemon, sugar, Nutella, Biscoff, ham, cheese, or any other topping or filling you fancy.

But how would you feel if I told you I had a tip for making pancakes that would change how you make them from now on? You’d be intrigued, wouldn’t you?

Well, you’re in luck, because I do indeed have a pancake-making tip up my sleeve for you. Well, technically I don’t, but some genius kid does.

Duff Goldman, owner of Charm City Cakes, star of Ace Of Cakes, and judge for shows such as Kids Baking Championship and Holiday Baking Championship, said a kid on one of the shows he works on taught him an invaluable crepe hack back in the day.

Duff told Insider, “A kid dipped the underside of a sauté pan into crepe batter and then placed the pan upside down onto the burner. Made perfect crepes. It was genius!”

Woah.

And it turns out this kid’s not the only one living in the future. This TikTok video features the exact same hack, and it’s so satisfying to watch.

We’d put money on the fact that you’re mixing up pancake batter as we speak… just make sure the bottom of your pan is clean, yeah?
