Devin-Norelle is a model (pronouns Ze/Zim), LGBTQIA+ advocate and opinion writer who uses zir ever-growing platform to bring awareness to the issues faced by the trans community. Ze has walked in the New York Fashion Week show for Chromat and has modeled for the 50th Year Anniversary Campaigns for both NYC Pride and Bonobos. In 2019, Devin-Norelle was awarded the Callen Lorde Transcendence Award for zir tireless work to uplift trans and nonbinary communities, including multiple articles published in Teen Vogue, GQ, Allure, Out Magazine and beyond. Devin-Norelle has recently joined NYC Pride’s Community Council to serve as a guide as the organization seeks to reduce police presence for future Pride marches and events. Ze also runs Bye Gender and Black Queer Rent Relief, a mutual fund initiative that sends microgrants of $500 to 30 different individuals each month. The fund is a community-based operation, the mission is to help trans individuals pay for expensive and life-saving gender-confirming surgery, medical and basic living expenses, and passport/ID name change.
