De La Rue says SFO probes 'suspected corruption' in business conduct in South Sudan
July 23 (Reuters) - De La Rue said on Tuesday the UK's Serious Fraud Office has opened an investigation into the the British banknote and passport printer in relation to "suspected corruption" in the conduct of business in South Sudan.
"Given the early stage of these matters, it is not possible to predict reliably what effect their outcome may have on De La Rue," the company said in a statement. (Reporting by Justin George Varghese in Bengaluru, editing by Louise Heavens)
