Linde will replace Barclays on leading European stocks index on Dec. 24

LONDON, Dec (Shanghai: 600875.SS - news) 6 (Reuters) - German industrial gases group

Linde (IOB: 0H3X.IL - news) will replace British bank Barclays (LSE: BARC.L - news) on

the leading index of pan-European stocks STOXX Europe 50, STOXX

Ltd, the operator of Deutsche Boerse Group's index business,

said on Thursday.

The change comes as part of the quarterly reshuffle and will

be effective at the opening of European trading on Dec. 24.

The company flagged the changes on Monday.
