Lisa Snowdon has revealed she felt “pressure” when it came to stripping down to her bikini for a shower when she was a contestant on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The presenter and former model was one of the jungle campers on the ITV show in 2016, and got plenty of attention when she headed to the showers in her blue bikini.

But she has now shared that she and some of her fellow female contestants actually put off showering until they were “reeking” because they knew they would be filmed in the camp’s waterfall for the well-known “shower shot”.

“We were like, ‘Oh no, we're going to be in the shower shot’ so we put it off for as long as possible in my year,” Snowdon told MailOnline.

“'There was quite a lot of pressure – you feel massively exposed.”

“We definitely delayed it for as long as we could until we were really, really reeking,” added the star, whose fellow female campers included Carol Vorderman, Ola Jordan and Scarlett Moffatt.

This year’s series has moved from Australia to Gwrych Castle in Wales because of the coronavirus pandemic, so contestants won’t have the jungle camp’s waterfall to wash in.

But Snowdon, 48, thinks “there will still be an iconic shower scene or two”.

“There will still be some sort of indoor shower with a camera, so I am sure we will still get to see the girls and guys half naked, I am sure!” she said.
