Loose Women panellist Saira Khan has showed off her weight transformation on Instagram.

The TV presenter is taking part in the Pure Elite Body Transformation competition this year.

Posting a before-and-after image yesterday (March 24), she wrote: "On other news, remember my Jeans that would not go past my knees, which made me determined to get into them by my 50th birthday!!

"Well I'm making progress, we're up to the thighs! I've got until May 15th to zip them up."

The rest of Saira's caption promoted a healthy mindset during this period of self-isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"We all need a focus to take our minds off things that worry and upset us and as I'm not going anywhere for the foreseeable future - these jeans are a great distraction," she wrote.

Meanwhile, Loose Women and Lorraine suspended production earlier this week due to fears over the pandemic.

An ITV statement confirmed: "This decision has been made to minimise the number of staff travelling in and out of our studios and working together on shift at any one time."
