$99,000,000 in Lotto Max prizes up for grabs this week

This is the time to try your luck at playing the lottery with $99 million in Lotto Max prizes up for grabs in Canada this week.

The $70 million top prize was not won by any players in Tuesday night's Lotto Max draw, which means it now rolls over into Friday's draw.

That's not where the winning opportunities end. There are also an estimated 29 Maxmillions prizes available, valued at $1 million each.

Players can purchase tickets until 10:30 p.m. ET Friday, June 4, 2021 for the draw that evening.

Even though the top prize wasn't won on Tuesday, several Ontarians were still winners.

A ticket for the Lotto Max second prize worth more than $1,041,000 was sold in the Etobicoke area of Toronto. There was also a Maxmillion ticket worth $1 million was sold in Simcoe County, Ont.

Three winning Encore tickets from Tuesday were sold in Ontario as well, each worth $100,000, in Haliburton County, Burlington and Kitchener.

Due to the COVID-19 measures in place in Ontario, customers with prizes over $50,000 need to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss the available prize claim options. Prize claims up to $49,999.90 continue to be submitted by mail.

Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $6 billion, including 84 jackpot wins and 626 Maxmillions prizes since September 2009.

Lotto Max draws are twice a week, Tuesday and Fridays. With each $5 play, players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to fifty. They need to match all seven numbers in any set to win the jackpot or the Maxmillions prizes.
