Pet owners in London will soon have a new luxury store concept to visit, where dog day care will be offered and there will be a pooch-friendly cafe and deli.

Upmarket pet brand Love My Human has signed a deal for just over 1800 square feet of space with landlord Sloane Stanley to open a ‘townhouse’ venue at 330 King’s Road, close to its flagship store.

Set to open in July the site will have a café and deli on the ground floor offering dog food and treats for canines, and there will be a menu for owners that will feature dachshund shaped sandwiches.

The first and second floors will feature day care, with fully qualified dog carers and walkers on hand to care for, play with, and exercise each canine. There will also be treatment rooms where dietary consultations will be among the offerings.

Expansion by the brand, which started online before opening its boutique in 2018, comes after a period where there have been reports of a step up in pet ownership.

Jenny Matthews, founder of Love My Human, said: “With more people spending time at home and choosing to take the leap into pet ownership, our clientele have become increasingly well-engaged with our brand.”

Hannah Grievson, head of property at Sloane Stanley, said: “We are delighted that the brand has chosen to evolve their concept with us and expand into a much anticipated second site.”
