Yahoo Finance Love Island's Teddy Soares 'has a voice again' following Faye Winter split
Love Island star Teddy Soares has said he feels like he has "a voice again" following his recent split from Faye Winter.
The pair got together on the 2021 series of the ITV2 reality show, though confirmed in February that they had parted ways.
Speaking in a new interview with MailOnline, Teddy spoke about how he feels following the break-up, explaining that he is "coming out of [his] shell".

"I have a voice again," he said. "I feel like I'm coming out of my shell again and going to events and going out more. Which is really nice.
"[Faye] talks about me in the press and we agreed not to but I don't speak about her. I've never been through a public break-up before, so it's difficult seeing it everywhere and seeing things she posts and stuff online."
However, the reality star admitted that he has struggled with Faye posting pictures of her dog Bonnie, especially as they shared the golden retriever when they were together.
"She is posting the dog which is really hard because we shared it," he added. "I have snoop every so often to see the dog, she's grown so much since I left in January."

Speaking herself about going through a break-up in the public eye, Faye told The Sun recently: "Obviously it's hard, it's always going to be hard.
"I've never been in a situation where I've been in a relationship in the public eye, and I've had to go through a break-up in the public eye.
"So obviously it's been hard and everything that's been hard in my life post-Love Island, I've always had Teddy there to help me deal with it and visa versa, I've always helped him. So I think that's the hardest part because I can't just ring him and be like 'I'm struggling'."

Last month, Faye also revealed that she is planning to freeze her eggs in the wake of the split, telling OK! Magazine: "Personally, I want to start my journey of freezing my eggs and giving myself some time to fall in love with this new life.
"It’s such a change, and now I’m at a point where I’m starting to find myself on my own in this world, I want to fall in love with that."
