SAN DIEGO (AP) _ LRAD Corp. (LRAD) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $1.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had net income of 4 cents.

The developer of directed sound technologies used by the military and police posted revenue of $10.2 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit $3.27. A year ago, they were trading at $2.33.
