Yahoo Finance M&S Has Launched These Chocolate Ombles Creatures And They’re Downright Adorable
Everyone, and I mean everyone, loves Colin The Caterpillar more than life itself. And Percy The Pig is a national treasure. But is it time for there to be some new kids on the block? Marks & Spencer seems to think so…
M&S has just announced that a new family of sweet treats has marched its way onto shelves and they ain’t going nowhere.
Made with luxury Belgian milk chocolate and rolled in flakey chocolatey shavings, The Ombles gang are on sale for £6 for a big one, or you can grab a two-pack of Mini Ombles for £5.
The Ombles aren’t just here for Easter, according to Marks & Spencer.
“We have tonnes planned for possibly THE MOST EXCITING new product of the year – did somebody say The Ombles birthday cakes, sweets or cheeky seasonal treats!? Keep your eyes peeled!”
A you can imagine, Colin The Caterpillar is raging and had plenty to say on these new upstarts.
“Well, well, well, what do we have here!? A new loveable M&S chocolate icon in the making - sounds familiar,” Colin seethed in a press release from M&S. “Welcome to the M&S family The Ombles! You are in for quite a ride!”
Is it just me or does that last bit sound like a threat? Stay safe, Ombles – you never know when you’ll come across a chocolate caterpillar lurking in a dark alley…
