Let’s be honest… there are a lot of people who have strong feelings about Christmas puddings. Mostly, that they taste like garbage, and they don’t want anything to do with them. In the words of Baga Chipz, we think that’s “very, very ‘arsh”, but there you go - each to their own.

But if you fall into the camp of people who would rather die than eat a single spoonful of Christmas pudding, then we think we have just the Christmas dessert for you. Especially if you’re a fan of Percy Pig sweets…

Marks & Spencer has launched a brand-new Percy Pig cake, and to say it’s a work of art would be an understatement.

The Percy Pig Igloo Cake has been spotted on M&S shelves by a number of Instagrammers, including @newfoodsuk and @helenjtea.

The festive showstopper of a cake features a madeira sponge, which has a Percy Pig flavoured jam middle. The whole thing is then smothered in Percy Pig flavoured buttercream and white chocolate curls. On top of this already dreamy cake is a pink chocolate dome, which when you smash into it, reveals a load of Percy Pig sweets pink fudge and marshmallows. Festive desserts don’t get much better than that, now do they?

In fact: this isn’t any festive dessert… this is an M&S festive dessert.

You can pick up the Percy Pig Pigloo Smash cake in M&S stores now for £15.
