Macaulay Culkin declares he's 'too old for this sh-t' in new holiday campaign

Macaulay Culkin is once again channeling his "Home Alone" days with his latest project.

The actor was just announced as the face of Happy Socks' new "Naughty or Nice" holiday campaign, in which he wears a variety of ugly Christmas sweaters and pokes fun at his connection to the holiday season.

"You know, every day is a holiday -- except for, the holidays," Culkin, 39, says in a clip announcing the collaboration. "I'm getting too old for this s--t!"

In a press release for the campaign, the actor further explained why he wanted to become the face of Happy Socks' latest collection and sarcastically played dumb as to why he's been so associated with the holidays for nearly three decades now.

"Both Happy Socks and I have really good taste in spokesman," he said. "But, yeah, Christmas is my time of year. I get recognized 10x more between the months of November and January. I have no idea why!"

As for his three pairs of holiday socks that he collaborated with the brand on, which all feature bunnies, Culkin said he "wanted to do something fun, playful, season-appropriate and involving bunnies."

"I love bunnies," he added.

The Swedish brand's "Naughty and Nice" collection offers a wide-array of vibrant, comfortable and unique socks perfect for holiday gifting this year. In addition to cheerful prints on singular pairs, customers can also choose from a variety of gift box and wrapping options to make their lives that much easier.
