Madewell is expanding their sustainable shoe collection with the Court Sneaker, a spring-ready trainer that's comfortable as it is versatile.

The outsoles are made from 40% recycled rubber and 10% rice husks, while the laces are manufactured with cotton farmed under the brand's Better Cotton Initiative for a reduced environmental footprint. Instead of discarding leftover leather that show slight imperfections, Madewell is repurposing it for the shoe’s upper leathers - which results in no two models looking exactly the same.
