MAFS Josh just addressed sliding into Morag's DMs

If there's one thing Married At First Sight is known for, it's the drama. Which is why we love it. And now, contestant Joshua Christie (who was matched with Amy Christopher) has spoken out over the accusations from fellow newlywed Morag Crichton, who has not once - but twice - mentioned that he slid into her DMs before the show. Oh, and accused him of still being a player, despite having wed Amy.

Now, in a nutshell: Josh is again very much denying the whole thing. Strongly. Despite eagle-eyed fans of the show allegedly unearthing old pics of Morag's that he'd liked. Interrresting?

Speaking to The Express, the DJ said, "I was backed up into a corner and I thought I have been brought into something, now I'm going to have to defend myself. For me, the most frustrating thing was that I didn't choose to be in that position, I was brought into it.

"From the moment you realised that, why did you not mention it or if you thought it was going to be a problem, why bring it up? When it did get brought up and it escalated, why then say it doesn't need to be this much of a problem?"

Josh continued on to say that he was baffled as to why "all that shade" was being directed at him and denied ever reaching out to, or exchanging messages with Morag.

"I can honestly say I did not DM Morag and there was no back and forth messages between us," he stressed. "There is no recollection of anything."

While Morag did later apologise to Josh, he's still pretty unhappy about his portrayal on the show, stating that he was unfairly positioned as a bit of a lad.

"From the beginning, I was introduced as some sort of lad," he explained. "I am a lad, but that doesn't mean to say I'm a f***boy. Up until what happened with Morag there was some sort of stick about me being not interested and a slow burner.

"In fact, it was just a matter of us [Josh and Amy] approaching the process at two different paces, and her being at a different stage in her life. It's quite easy to then point the finger at somebody who is half good looking, young, and say they are a lad with no evidence."

So, err, there we go.
