Feeling lethargic after a poor night of sleep? These simple makeup tweaks might be the perfect wingman at your next Zoom meeting.

In The Know’s Lisa Azcona picked up a few tips and tricks on how to make sleepy eyes look more awake courtesy of TikTokers Julia Rosemond and @miss_chelseaa_mua.

“These tips go far beyond concealer so make sure you cover up those dark circles,” Lisa advised.

First, Lisa prepped her lashes with an eyelash curler and used a light eyeliner on the lower half of her eye.

“Grab a nude or white eyeliner and apply a thin line along your lower waterline,” Lisa advised.

Next, she used a neutral matte eyeshadow to define her creases and used a black eyeliner to “elongate” her eyes.

“Grab a black eyeliner and create a small wing in the corner of your eyes to elongate them,” Lisa said.

Be careful when you’re using your eyeliner to draw wings on your eyes. If you fully line your eyes all the way to the inner corner, it can make them look smaller, which defeats the whole purpose.

Once Lisa was done applying her wings, she grabbed some mascara and applied it to her top and bottom lashes “because long lashes are essential for this look,” she said.

Finally, Lisa dabbed NYX’s Born To Glow highlighter on the inner corner of both eyes to make them really pop.

“Guys, it looks so good,” Lisa raved. “I love that these tips require minimal effort and that my eyes look bigger and more awake. It’s a simple way to fake a good night’s sleep.”
