Man slammed for 'nightmare' proposal at Disney World: 'This isn't funny anymore'

When you see someone drop to one knee to ask their partner to marry them, it’s a total honor to be a part of that special, once-in-a-lifetime moment. For most people, anyway.

For TikTok user @kelly_kirb, the whole process is a total nightmare. That’s because her husband simply will not stop proposing to her at Disney World. She shared a compilation of videos of her partner dropping to his knee to pop the question repeatedly through the park.

“My husband proposed to me all over Disney World because he knows I hate a scene,” she wrote in her video. “We were already engaged so he knew he could get away with this.”

Her annoyed reaction to his exaggerated romantic gesture stands out every time. She appears overwhelmed and even runs away a few times.

“This isn’t funny anymore,” she said at one point, though the person giggling behind the camera suggested otherwise.

Commenters found it pretty funny, too.

“Imagine the people around thinking she doesn’t want to marry him lol,” one user said.

“Looks like he’s being rejected all over Disney World,” another wrote.

“Your nightmare is everyone’s dream,” a third remarked.

Others thought it was over-the-top.

“Listen to her when she says please stop it’s not funny anymore. It might be funny but not at the expense of someone you love,” one user commented.

“You still married this man? Def not cool, this would make so many people so anxious,” another said.

@kelly_kirb replied to many negative comments to note that it was all in good fun, though it does make her skin crawl to have all those eyes on her.

“We go back in June, wish me luck,” @kelly_kirb wrote in her caption.

Good luck to them both!
