Mariah Carey is headed to Sin City!

On Tuesday, the "Always Be My Baby" singer, 54, announced she was returning to Las Vegas for Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

The performances, which will take place on April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 & 27, will celebrate the anniversary of Carey's album The Emancipation of Mimi and feature fan favorites from the album as well as other hits.

Carey and Live Nation Las Vegas will donate $1 of every ticket purchased to Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas at Dolby Live at Park MGM to The Fresh Air Fund's Camp Mariah.

This will mark the "Obsessed" performer's third-ever residency. In 2015, she launched #1 to Infinity, which featured all 18 of Carey’s US No. 1 singles, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Then, in 2018, she returned for The Butterfly Returns.

Carey released The Emancipation of Mimi, her 10th studio album, in April 2005, featuring hits like "We Belong Together" and "Shake It off." It went on to sell six million copies in the U.S. alone — 10 million globally. It also earned the R&B icon 10 Grammy nominations.

“In terms of having huge hits, [The Emancipation of Mimi] definitely was a very successful album, so people were like, ‘It’s a comeback album,’” Carey told Billboard in 2020. “For me, it was like a coming together of a lot of things with that album more than a comeback album. But they can call it that if they want to.”

Carey also explained that the album and its successful reception has made it a special part of her career, and even helped bring in many new fans.

“I look at it as a very important time in my career, a very significant time for me as an artist,” she said. “It was a sense of feeling triumphant when it was as successful as it was. I know a lot of people were introduced to me from that album, as well. So I would just love for people to take away the music from that album. I hope that it makes people feel good. That’s the goal.”
