M&S has released a chic range of occasion wear for spring, including dresses, jumpsuits and separates from brands such as Nobody's Child and Phase Eight.

Taking to instagram, the brand showcased a selection of looks in a short video clip, including a co-ordinated striped outfit set from Phase Eight, ruffled blue swing dress by Nobody's Child and an olive green jumpsuit featuring billowing sleeves.

The outfits are ideal for spring and summer weddings, or for other more formal occasions such as garden parties and special celebrations.

Last month, M&S released a silky pink tea dress as part of its spring offering, and it remains the perfect piece for seasonal occasions.

The long sleeve midi benefits from a flattering cut and crew neckline with billowing sleeves, while the statement peep-hole back adds understated drama to the look.

With two tie fastening, you can secure it as tightly or loosely as you prefer.

The gorgeous pink shade is not only seasonal (and perfect if you're after a wedding guest dress) but is also bang on style right now with the 'Barbiecore' fashion trend of the moment, which champions head-to-toe pink looks. This M&S dress demonstrates how to take on the trend in a chic, grown up way.

The 'Satin Round Neck Midi Tea Dress' is available to buy on the M&S website in sizes 6 to 24 and costs £49.50.

And, if you're in the market for some new pieces to brighten up your spring wardrobe, then you'll be glad to hear that M&S has fully launched its spring season collection with new pieces being added all the time.

Expect plenty of bright colours, florals, and cooler fabrics. From power suits to neon accessories, the new collection has everything you need to put a spring in your step.

Hopefully, the sun will start to shine more, and with plenty of bank holidays coming up, and the longer evenings, it's time to refresh our wardrobes with pieces that will see us through spring and into summer.

M&S shared the first news of its spring collection on Instagram, captioning the post "Spring has finally arrived! Be inspired by our new-season collection now."

M&S's seasonal collection features pieces from the brand, as well as others that are stocked with the retailer, such as Nobody's Child, Finery and White Stuff.

The Boucle Tweed Double Breasted Blazer is available in sizes 6-24, and is £79, as seen on Holly Willoughby. With matching high-waisted shorts, this set has a classic, elegant look. With two easy to wear staples, each piece could be worn separately to add a smart touch to any outfit.

For those after something a bit more laid back in style, but still wanting to stand out, the beautiful Printed Wide Leg Trousers are a must. Add a bold pop to your outfit with these floral trousers. Designed with an elasticated waistband and wide legs for a breezy feel that's perfect for spring, these trousers are incredibly easy to wear.

Available in sizes 6-24, and in petite, regular and long fit, the trousers are priced at an affordable £29.50.

Embrace effortless style whilst staying cool in this pure cotton shirt midaxi dress, in a lovely, blue floral mix pattern. The adjustable tie at the waist creates a flattering silhouette, whilst the length and fabric add an airy feel. For £39.50, the dress comes in sizes 6-24, and also has a khaki option.
