Married teacher convicted of having sex with pupil, 15, in field

A married teacher is facing jail after being found guilty of having sex with an underage teenager.

Kandice Barber, 35, of Wendover, Buckinghamshire, added the boy on Snapchat and sent him flirty messages and later had sex with him in a field.

The mother-of-three then threatened to bring him down if he reported the incident to authorities and falsely accused the child of rape, as reported by The Sun.

A jury at Amersham Law Courts today found Barber guilty of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and not guilty of two further counts of the same offences.

The court heard how Barber had approached the boy victim at a sports day event when she added him as a 'friend' on social media.

The 35-year-old had started texting the boy, who was said to be "obsessed" with her. She then arranged to meet the boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, and carried out a sexual act with him.
