Most parents are very familiar with the dressing concept of “mommy and me.” It’s when a child dresses almost identically to their parent. If you’re into that kind of thing, it can be really freakin’ cute.
For those folks who don’t yet have kids (or those who don’t want them), Target just debuted a fun take on the trend: matching pet jackets!
TikTok user @lyssjoleen was among the first to take the cute coordinating pieces for a spin. She showed off her pooch wearing a Target pet vest that matched her sherpa jacket in a now-viral TikTok video that has 27,000 likes and nearly 8,000 shares.

As you can see from the TikTok video and the pics above, these matching pet vests and sherpa jackets from Target are actually legit really cute. Both the human version and the pet design are available in four colors. The women's style is available in sizes XS-4X.
Even though these coordinating pieces are relatively new to Target, shoppers are already raving about them. “Cute and soft,” wrote one shopper about the Women’s Sherpa Jacket. “I love this jacket. The quality is great. I have gotten so many compliments already,” they went on to say.
“[It’s] really cute and [has] accurate sizing!” another shopper said about the Sherpa Dog and Cat Vest. “I wish they had more colors.”
Whether for yourself or the pet lover on your gift list this season, you shouldn’t hesitate to grab these items while they’re still in stock. That may not be the case for much longer.
