Media Advisory: Minister Ambrose to Announce Significant Investment in National Health Research Network

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Feb 5, 2015) - The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, on behalf of the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology), will announce a significant investment in a research network under the Networks of Centres of Excellence program.

Prior to the announcement, Minister Ambrose will tour the lab of Dr. Todd Lowary, Scientific Director, GlycoNet. Media are invited to join.

This announcement follows the Government of Canada's recent launch of the updated science, technology and innovation strategy.
