MEDIA-IAG plans to offer 1.52 bln for Norwegian - Expansion

May 21 (Reuters) - Spanish newspaper Expansion, citing unnamed sector sources:

* Says IAG plans to offer 1.52 billion euros ($1.79 billion) for Norwegian Air Shuttle (LSE: 0FGH.L - news)

* Says, after two unsuccessful attempts, IAG has drawn up a proposal that values its rival at 330 Norwegian crowns ($40.64) per share, a premium of 32 pct on the share price

* On Friday, IAG said it was not expecting to announce a deal to buy Norwegian soon and would not make a hostile bid
